FLEXA ~ PLAYFUL & STYLISH KIDS FURNITURE

Just a quick post as I wanted to share with you guys this lovely kids furniture company I discovered recently.

For those of you who have been following my blog since last year, you will know that I have been searching high and low for a bed for my son. I came across this company randomly one day when I was on facebook (popped up as a suggested post I think) and it is where I finally got the bed!!

The company is called Flexa and they specialise in children’s furniture. It’s a Danish brand that specialises in timeless Scandinavian interiors AND is eco friendly. This company is represented by Little Bloom in Mauritius (you can find them own FB)and when I enquired about their products, they were very responsive and helpful sending me all the relevant information. There were a few ranges to choose from but I ended up choosing the CLASSIC range which is made of pine wood (and comes in 3 finishes) The beds come in different configurations including storage drawers under the bed or a pull-out bed or even both but we went with the one that had a safety rail as Leo likes to rotate 360 degrees in the bed!

"Created by adults, tested by kids"

There are also 3 other ranges called PLAY, POPSICLE and WHITE. Initially I was drawn to the PLAY range with its lovely pastel colours and curved headboard/footboard but this range is mainly made from MDF and I was looking for a bed made from solid wood.

I was surprised by the variety of products that Flexa offers, everything for a child’s room, from beds, storage, tables, lamps, accessories, mattresses to bed linen.

Delivery of the bed took about 3 months from order and came flat packed. It took me (with a little help from hubby) about 1.5hrs to make the bed and the instructions were very straightforward and they also have instruction videos which can be found on their website.

The beds come with loads of optional accessories and I couldn’t resist but get a shelf to hang on the safety rail. Here, Leo can put his books and toys and it will make a great display area for mummy to play around with too lol

Leo has yet to spend the night in his bed but he seems to like it so hopefully he will sleep here soon.

I think I need to update his bedroom also as it’s looking a little cluttered at the moment…

Little Bloom also have other products for kids such as the PLAY & GO play mats. I have one of these also (the grey bag hanging on the wall in pics above) and they are so useful. I currently store Leo's lego pieces in it but I think these will make great beach mats also... once you're done, just throw everything in it and draw the string for easy transport! tadahh!

ONLY THE BEST FOR OUR KIDS!

  2. Other than this, natural room furniture producers endeavor to diminish the utilization of specific materials in furniture gathering and making that are not well disposed to the earth. Engineered backboards, Styrofoam bundling, bubble wraps and so forth are not used any longer. All things considered, you get lovely furniture while securing the earth. Furniture
