BIRTHDAY REPORT ~ LEO'S MR MEN PARTY

I've been sooo quiet on the blog for months so I thought it was time to update it with a happy birthday report!

Leo turned 4 recently and it's amazing how time flies when you become a parent. I can still remember the day he was born (down to the tiniest details of the delivery room lol) and now he's grown up to become one cheeky little fella!

RECIPE ~ VANILLA CUPCAKE WITH CHOCOLATE FROSTING

Just realised my last post was nearly 2 months ago!! How time flies and it's nearly Easter already!

This year for Easter, I'm planning to decorate some eggs with my son and eat loads of chocolate lol

Anyway, this post is just going to be a quick recipe for some vanilla cupcakes that I made recently. They were much better than expected so I thought I'd share the recipe with you guys as it's so easy to make. I made it with chocolate frosting to go with the Easter theme but you can finish it off with anything like lemon icing or a dusting of icing sugar.

FELT BALL GARLANDS

I was clearing my son's toy cupboard the other day and I remembered that I had bought some felt ball garlands when Leo was born thinking that I’ll one day have one of those house beds for Leo. I was planning to have it wrapped and draped over the bedframe like below but I decided against the bed (and went with a simple single bed instead).

Obviously, I didn’t want them to go to waste so I've been searching for different uses for them and came across some cute alternatives which are quite easy to do. Since I was looking for ideas, I thought I'd share them with you so you can see how versatile felt balls/garlands can be. It seems many felt ball garlands are used in nursery rooms and kids rooms but I wanted to look for ideas that can be used throughout the home too.
